Jackie Chan: From Humble Beginnings to Global Stardom

Jackie Chan grew up in a typical Chinese household, where his father worked as a cook and his mother as a maid. Their lives took a dramatic turn during the civil war when they escaped to Hong Kong in search of a better future. In 1960, the family relocated to Australia, seeking new opportunities.

Recognizing Jackie’s potential, his parents sent him to the China Drama Academy, where he immersed himself in acting, philosophy, and martial arts. He spent ten years at the academy, training rigorously in various disciplines, which laid the foundation for his future career in the entertainment industry.
